AgriSpread New to Denmark
Svend Aage Jensen and his colleagues from Brørup Traktor- & Maskincenter and Ølgod Maskinforretning have talked several times about AgriSpread's trailed spreaders, which they first saw at Agritechnica.
The robust quality of the Irish spreaders, the technology and the company's targeted work with precision spreading appealed to them. Now BTMK has gone all-in and has become an importer.
“We can see great potential in the spreaders for both fertilizer, lime and biomass. The product range has large two-axle models, which will primarily be sold primarily to contractors. Their latest AS3000 series, for example, can spread fertilizer in working widths of up to 53 meters and lime up to 30 meters via a tandem system.
For customers with slightly smaller needs, AgriSpread offers compact single-axle models. All models are high quality spreaders.” He also says that the Irish spreaders are ahead of their competitors in some areas. For example, almost everything can be controlled via ISOBUS, the large models can be delivered with stainless steel hoppers & suspension as an option, along with several other high specification features.
Precision spreading on a large scale
The AgriSpread AS3000 series is the company's flagship series and developed for modern agriculture and contractors where capacity, precision and flexibility are essential.
The series combines advanced hydraulics, ISOBUS technology and high spreading capacity in one solution for lime, fertilizer and other bulk products. It can work with spreading widths of up to 53 meters for mineral fertilizer, 51 meters for urea and 30 meters for lime. The large spreading width is achieved via a hydraulically foldable twin-conveyor system, where the product is transported via two hydraulic cross belts out to some large hydraulically driven spreading discs, which are placed a full 6 meters apart.
AgriSpread's SCS system (Single Belt Section Control) is standard on the AS3000 series. The system controls the left and right spreading units individually and automatically reduces the working width.
For the plant grower, the AgriSpread AS2100 is a high-performance trailed precision spreader for the modern plant grower who wants to do the work himself in-field. It is an advanced, hydraulic ISOBUS precision spreader that combines high precision, flexibility and reliability in a compact, light and agile machine. The AS2100 uses an advanced 4-point load cell system mounted on a double chassis, so that there is constant monitoring of product flow, precise dosing at changing density and automatic correction during driving, ensuring high precision and optimal utilization of both fertilizer and lime.
Debut at Roskilde Dyrskue
Brørup Traktor- & Maskincenter and AgriSpread will exhibit an AgriSpread AS2100 SCS at Roskilde Dyrskue Show in June. “We are very excited about the new spreaders and all their options, so it will be exciting to hear the customers comments” added Svend.
There are many skilled plant growers on Zealand and Lolland-Falster who know what they demand from their spreaders.
The new AgriSpread spreaders will initially be sold and serviced directly from Brørup Traktor- & Maskincenter and Ølgod Maskinforretning in cooperation with their regular partners on Zealand.
