Business Development Executive – Canada

As we continue to expand in Canada, we are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Executive to strengthen our presence and support our growing dealer and customer base.

Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will lead sales growth across mainly Western Canada by developing new dealers, supporting existing partners, and providing exceptional front line customer engagement. This is a hands on, field based role requiring strong agricultural machinery knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to build long term relationships with dealers, farmers, and contractors. Role is based out of Regina, Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities
Dealer Network Development
• Identify, validate, and onboard new dealers across SK, MB, AB & On.
• Support dealers in building sales, service, and parts capability
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, pricing, and promotional programs
• Monitor inventory, assist with forecasting, quoting, and ordering
• Deliver product, sales, and service training to dealer teams
• Support product launches, demonstrations, testing, and field days
• Provide ongoing post sales support and communicate product updates

Customer & Market Engagement
• Build strong relationships with farmers, contractors, and ag businesses
• Conduct on farm start ups, operational training, and product support
• Present and demonstrate product features and competitive advantages
• Handle sales negotiations, objections, and deal closing
• Recommend product specifications based on customer needs
• Liaise on repairs, upgrades, and operational issues
• Participate in trade shows, demos, and customer events

Industry Expertise & Experience
• Deep knowledge of agricultural equipment and modern farming operations
• 7–10+ years’ experience in ag machinery sales, dealer support, or similar roles
• Proven experience working with dealers, distributors, and end users
• Ability to work independently across large territories
• Physically capable of working around farm machinery (climbing, lifting, field setup)
• Strong communication, presentation, organisational, and computer skills
• Valid driver’s licence; willingness to travel frequently, including occasional weekends and international trips

Cross Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with senior management, R&D, marketing, service, parts, and production teams
• Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and dealer performance reporting
• Support marketing with content, customer stories, and field based materials

Control Systems Engineer

Due to continued global growth, we are seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ballyhaunis; this is a full-time position with an excellent remuneration package.
Description & Responsibilities:

- To implement the systems and structures required to develop/write software and hardware for machine control using Codesys V2.3 and V3.5.
- Understand, create, edit, and deploy PLC application software to ISO 61131 parts 1-10.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee software and hardware development. (Design, build, test).
- Create and design the required design documents.
- Provide and maintain detailed electrical drawings.
- Managing several projects at once.
- Provide solutions to quality issues.
- Ensuring compliance with audits, certifications, and regulations (Safety regulations or other).
- Support to engineering and production in all instances.
- Ability to produce reports, monitor progress and analyse data.
- Work with sales team to help deliver competitive & innovative solutions to the industry as directed by the MD.
- Provision of training material and diagnostic for product support and distributors/dealers/end users.
- Assembly, testing, debugging & repairing of R&D electronic control systems.

Position Requirements:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of PLC controllers and PLC software. Ideally Codesys but not essential. Training will be given where required.
- Broad Machine knowledge (e.g basics of hydraulics/ pneumatics and electrical systems).
- Working knowledge of electrical signals e.g. 4-20mA analogue, PWM etc.
- IEC6113-3 programming (ladder logic, function block diagram, structured text).
- Communications protocols such as CAN, CANOpen, ISOBUS, Ethernet/TCP.
- Planning, organization, and project management skills to be able run and monitor the product development.
- Attention to detail and priorities, high standards, results focused and ensuring consistent quality.
- Technically-minded with mechanical aptitude for problem solving and improvements.
- Able to handle responsibility and the pressure of meeting demanding and changing deadlines.
- A leader, team player and builder, decision maker with clear communication (written & verbal) skills.
- Third level qualification in related field.
- IT literate and numeric.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Due to continued global growth, we are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer; this is a full-time permanent position with an excellent remuneration package.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of our engineering team and will report directly to the Head of Product Development. The successful candidate will be involved in the design and testing and validation of new products. The successful candidate should have excellent communication, reporting and problem-solving skills including strong CAD capabilities in areas such as drafting, sheet metal design, FE Analysis. A background in agriculture is desirable.


Main areas of responsibility will be as follows:

• Perform research actives for new R&D projects.
• Prepare initial product specification for new R&D projects.
• Assist in development new designs ideas and improve on existing designs.
• Interpret and create hydraulic schematics as required.
• Prepare detailed specifications for new R&D projects.
• Develop design input requirements for new projects.
• Develop and maintain design outputs as required.
• Design of fixturing required for production.
• Troubleshoot production issues with production engineers and propose solutions to same.
• Troubleshoot in-field issues with customer support engineers and propose solutions to same.
• Develop specification for new components and provide acceptance of same.
• Provide support to R&D engineers with prototype and pre-production unit fabrication and assembly.
• Develop test programs for new projects.
• Assist in design verification and validation activities.
• Carry out risk assessments for new products.
• Adhere to defined PDM processes for management of engineering data

OEM Mechanical/ Assembly Operator

Due to continued expansion, we are currently seeking to recruit an experienced OEM Mechanical/ Assembly Operator; this is a full-time permanent position.

Responsibility:

• Assembly of electrical harness kits on an assembly line – fault finding, testing, diagnostics and troubleshooting.

• Fitting/ assembly of hydraulic circuits - training & skill upgrade provided on-site.

• Mechanical - fitting motors, installing conveyors & working with mechanical tools.

• General assembly on a production line on a range of Agricultural and Construction equipment manufactured on site.

• Reporting.

Key Skills:

• Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, schematics and work orders.

• Problem-Solving: Strong skills in identifying and addressing issues quickly to prevent production delays.

• Attention to Detail: Precision is key to ensuring components are fitted correctly and products function as intended.

• Teamwork and Communication: Collaborating effectively with engineers, supervisors, and other team members in assembly is essential.

Experience:

- This is a multifaceted role, factory based in assembly, the ideal candidate will have completed an Agricultural Engineering or Agricultural Mechanisation course in full or in-part.

- Candidates with industry experience or similar will also be considered.

- Agricultural machinery background is desirable but not essential.

- 3 + years experience in a similar field required.

Welder Supervisor

As we continue to scale our international operations, we are seeking a Welding Supervisor to lead our fabrication team. You will be the bridge between our engineering plans and the workshop floor, ensuring every product meets our rigorous global standards for safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Coordinate daily workflows, assign tasks to the welding crew, and mentor team members to optimize productivity.

• Quality Assurance: Perform detailed visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with technical drawings and international safety codes.

• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the production line and implement innovative solutions to increase manufacturing efficiency.

• Safety Oversight: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all staff.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional welding experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.

• Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of MIG/TIG processes, particularly with stainless steel and aluminium.

• Education: Relevant trade certification or a diploma in Engineering/Fabrication is highly desirable.

CNC Plasma/ Laser cutter operator 

A CNC Laser Cutter Operator sets up, runs, and maintains laser cutting machines to produce parts from technical drawings, focusing on quality, safety, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include loading programs, calibrating machines, monitoring cuts, performing basic maintenance, reading blueprints, using measuring tools (callipers, micrometeors), troubleshooting, and adhering to strict safety protocols, often requiring physical stamina and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Load/unload materials, set up programs, adjust settings, and monitor machine performance.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts for accuracy against specifications, identify defects, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Setup & Calibration: Prepare the laser machine, set focal points, and calibrate for different materials.
• Maintenance: Perform routine checks, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting/repairs.
• Documentation: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Safety: Follow all laser safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean work area.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience operating CNC laser or similar machinery.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, use measuring tools (calliper’s, micrometeors), understand CAD/CAM software (CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator), basic computer skills, and sometimes CNC programming.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, dependability, and mechanical aptitude.
• Physical: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials (e.g., 25 kg), and work in a manufacturing environment (noise, fumes).

Education:

leaving Cert or equivalent.
